Be Afraid Not To Try

As a person who loves notes and hand-written letters, I was impressed by this coffee shop's personalized to-go cups. I know that this quote has been used for over a billion times but I felt quite emotional to be the person to receive this cup.

Yes, I've always been afraid to fail but one time, a friend of mine reminded me that I should not fear failure. And it helped me in making the smallest to the biggest life decisions.

Dear friend,

I know you hate drama,

And this might annoy you,

But I really want to say, "Thanks!"

For you have helped me a lot.

You were there for me,

when I was dealing with a lot of stuff.

I wish I could have done the same,

I wish I had been a better friend,

But I didn't even try to learn...

How to be that person-

You needed by your side.

I swear you've always been,

My favorite person on Earth

I just didn't want us to end up hurt.
