I Am Sorry

If I ever did something that hurt you

If there was something I did or didn't do

Then I am writing you this letter

To let you know that I wish I knew better

I wonder what it is that I did

For you to get so mad

Did I ever become a weed,

Sucking nutrients, competing with your plant?

You used to always be there

but now you've unfollowed me everywhere

So it really must be something

That I've done or am still doing

And though I wish I knew what it was

I am leaving behind the past
