Pocket Poetry

While organizing my stuff earlier today, I realized I have heaps of notebooks (of different sizes) that I haven't used. I found this pocket notebook, which I was supposed to use in 2023. But my stubborness and laziness shook hands and joined forces, and I completely forgot about its existence. It could also be a mini sketchpad, but I decided to use it as a "Poetry Pocket Notebook" —kind of like a journal, but in the form of poetry. Short yet concise.

1. A Sneak Peek of a Fun Weekend at Swissotel

Relax, we bar-hopped within the hotel/casino's premises. I had a nice and meaningful chat with friends and went back to our rooms at 3 am-ish. I wasn't sure if it was just the alcohol that made me sick the next day because my parents didn't have drinks but got sick as well. I reported it to the manager on duty and was well taken care of by their company nurse and manager.

I was given a 2 day-1 night staycation incentive by the hospital for being their Employee of the Year 2024. It was initially for 2 persons only, but I decided to bring both my parents, with a plan of paying for the additional guest. Lo and behold, the sponsor booked us in... wait for it... the Swiss Grand Executive Suite, with club lounge access, breakfast at Markt and lunch at Ristorante di Verona

Quite an unforgettable experience. 😂
