That we began greeting each other on new years.
Its backstory is kind of funny,
I had to relearn Mandarin.
Even though it might have not meant anything to you,
It became an event I' always looked forward to.
We'd congratulate each other for surviving another year,
And wish for a great one ahead,
Filled with opportunities, growth and happiness.
Sharing our realizations and reflections,
Cheering for one another,
You became my inspiration,
To just keep going,
Pushing forward,
Chasing my dreams.
2023 was the most unforgettable.
