I fell for a version of you

That I've created in my head

A guy who had everything

Kindness, talent and looks

But as I got to know you more,

I saw the real you...

Including your flaws

I thought, these things

Would stop me from liking you

But I was wrong,

It didn't stop my feelings from growing

I fell for you,

Even deeper

Despite knowing these things about you

I never knew I'd like

Like a tree,

Growing even taller, wider

With its roots growing deeper

Getting the balance of nutrition it needs

Water, sunlight, carbon dioxide

And in return,

Gives me

Shade,

Oxygen,

And potection

So, even when things get quite odd,

I will love you still

And when life gets messy,

Let's clean and organize it together

I'll grab the broom, go get the dust pan

I'll keep supporting you

In all your versions and variants

In the multiverse
