Goodbye, My Twenties!

I bid a sweet farewell,

To my twenties that have gone by.

Tonight, I shall sleep well,

Goodnight, goodbye!

May I never forget,

Everything that I've been through.

Memories that are the happiest,

Even the saddest ones too.

All of those moments,

Turned me into,

The person I am today.

So, thank you,

Family, friends,

Acquaintances and strangers,

For touching this life,

For passing by,

With even the slightest interaction.

You were catalysts.

Thank you for being part of my twenties.

Comfort Zone

I've made my room too comfortable,

That I don't want to leave it.

Maybe I should find a new job,

Where I can work remotely.

Full

My phone could not capture,
What I want you to picture,
How wonderful of a sight,
The moon is tonight.

Still, I take photos as reminders,
So my memory can paint whatever it remembers.
Photos are journal entries,
One goes back to,
To remember how it felt,
Sounded, smelled, tasted.

I remember how it used to annoy my highschool classmates,
That I took a lot of photos of even the most ramdom moments.
But after a few years, they finally realized the importance of photographs.
They'd randomly check those photos to reminisce.

Shot using low quality phone and digital camera,
Some are pixelated, others are blurry.
But it doesn't matter because,
Nostalgia still kicks in.
